Precious Promises – Day 7 by SGLY Ministry

Today’s Promise: COURAGE
Wait on the LORD;
Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart;
Wait, I say, on the LORD!
Psalms 27:14 [NKJV]

Today’s Thought:
Why should we wait for the Lord?
~~BECAUSE~~
“He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak”
Isaiah 40:29 (NIV)

~~WHY DOES HE DO THAT?~~
“For the Lord loves the just
and will not forsake His faithful ones. They will be protected forever…”
Psalm 37:28 (NIV)

Today’s Prayer:
Dear Lord,
I want to wait for You.
I want to be patient and move in Your timing.
I want to trust You to act in Your time and way.
So, Lord, help me to be strong, and to be firm minded so I know Your will and can then stand firm in it.
I want to take heart and be committed to You, Lord.
I don’t want to let circumstances change my right thinking.
Help me Lord, to always wait for You.
Thank you Lord. Amen.

Be on guard. Stand true to what you believe.
Be courageous. Be strong.
1 Cor. 16:13

Strengthen me according to Your Word

Psalm 119:28 ‘My soul is weary with sorrow; strengthen me according to Your Word.’

- Life can cause us to become weary, tired, and exhausted.
- But the Word of God comes and brings us exactly what we need.
- His Word and His promises bring strength into our lives.
- If you feel weary and drained by life, take hold of His Word, and be strengthened.

PRAYER: Lord, thank You for Your Word which brings strength and hope into my heart and soul. When I am tired and when I feel worn-out, I will remind myself of all the good promises You have given me, and I will be empowered and strengthened. Amen.

Kind Regards
Pastor Andrew Roebert

For You, O Lord, have made me glad by Your works; at the deeds of Your hands I joyfully sing. — PSALM 92:4 (AMPC)

The Source of Happiness by Joyce Meyer

Focusing on our problems will prevent us from rejoicing and being glad. Look for the good in your life and your joy will increase. You might have a problem, but if you focus on what’s good, then you will discover there are some good things in your life also. The world is full of people and situations that don’t please us, so if we are waiting for perfect circumstances to make us happy, we will be waiting forever.

That’s why we must learn not to base our happiness and joy on outward circumstances, but on the Lord’s presence inside us.

Thankfully, we can learn not to fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in everything to give thanks and praise to God. Then the peace that passes all understanding will be ours.

Prayer Starter: Father, thank You for the gifts of joy and contentment. Regardless of the circumstances around me, I choose to praise You and realize that You are the true source of my joy. Thank You for Your goodness in my life. I choose to put my hope in You. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Song of Solomon 6:3 I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine.’

- Remember, you are valuable and precious to the Lord and He loves you.
- You belong to Somebody; you belong to the Lord.
- You are His special treasure, and you are His house, where He can dwell.
- Your Heavenly Father loves and cares for you – have no fear!

PRAYER: Lord, thank You that I can know I am loved and valued by You. You see me as someone of great value. I will rest in Your secure and faithful love for me. Amen.

Kind Regards
Pastor Andrew Roebert
